What We Do
New Horizons partners with our community and young people to offer wraparound services that address each individual in a holistic way.
The Nest on 3rd is a 30-bed low-barrier, animal-friendly shelter that offers individual spaces to young adults looking for a safe place to stay. Within the shelter we offer resident space to young adults who are in the process of looking for stable housing, as well as night-by-night shelter beds. All residents have access to lockers, showers, and basic necessities during shelter hours.
Shelter guests are served dinner every night and provided snacks at the start of shelter hours. From Monday โ Thursday dinner is served in Day Programs and from Friday โ Sunday it is provided only to shelter guests at the start of shelter hours.
Shelter Hours: 9:00pm โ 8:00am
