Join New Horizons for a hope-filled evening featuring a plated dinner, special guest speakers, and art by youth and young adults in our community. Proceeds will benefit programs dedicated to ending homelessness, one young person at a time.
Megan Gibbard Kline has twenty years of progressive experience working to prevent and end youth and young adult homelessness, including direct service, nonprofit leadership, government-based system change, and national movement building. She has been nationally distinguished as a leading and credible voice on the issue, and was instrumental in the building of King County’s focus on youth and young adult homelessness. She is regarded as one of the leading community voices of youth and young adult homelessness.
Today, Megan is a therapist and clinical supervisor in private practice, a long-awaited career and personal aspiration focusing on the depth within herself and others. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2004 and has held her LICSW since 2009. Megan spends as much time as possible on the Salish Sea with her family and their old sailboat. Woven into her work is a passion for children, commitment to advancing justice, faith, identifying the spark of love in all people, and exploring her own profound human vulnerability. Megan is an ongoing student of the Christian contemplative tradition, identifies as queer/cisgender, and is a mother.
