To volunteer with New Horizons, email Rodney Scott, Volunteer Coordinator, at rodneys@nhmin.org. We’re excited to have you! In partnership with the City of Seattle and King County, we are asking all on-site volunteers to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 by January 30, 2022. An on-site volunteer is a volunteer whose commitment requires them to be on-site for longer than 15 minutes such as cooking and serving in the New Horizons kitchen or volunteers working directly in the shelter. Read our Volunteer Vaccine FAQ here. We partner with professionals in mental health, chemical dependency counseling or treatment, and therapeutic programming through the arts. If you have a service to offer youth in our Drop-In Center or are interested in learning more about becoming a Program Partner, email Rob at robs@nhmin.org.
We are looking for compassionate people to provide and serve meals, to interact directly with youth and young adults, and to help organize and clean our shelter space.
