Homeless youth service providers are seeing more and more youth on the Autism spectrum in our programs, but we often lack the skills and knowledge needed to adequately serve them. This 3-hour workshop is an opportunity for King County youth service providers to gain a baseline understanding of the Autism spectrum, how it shows up for young people in our programs, and concrete ways we can adjust our practices to better meet the needs of these young people.

Registration is open for staff members from:

  • YouthCare
  • Friends of Youth
  • Nexus Youth and Families
  • Accelerator YMCA
  • New Horizons Ministries
  • Street Youth Ministries
  • ROOTs Young Adult Shelter
  • TeenFeed, and
  • Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets (PSKS)
